A well-run WhatsApp shop can handle 5 to 15 orders a week at the start, which means 150,000 to 600,000 FCFA (about $250 to $1,000) in monthly revenue depending on the average order value (an illustrative range estimated for the course, not measured; your results depend on your product, your prices and how consistent you are).

A beginner freelancer in Dakar commonly charges 25,000 to 75,000 FCFA (about $40 to $125) for a simple project (a set of social media posts, a campaign visual, one website page, a short translation). Three to five projects a month bring in an extra 100,000 to 300,000 FCFA (about $165 to $500), depending on the skill and the time available (rates charged in Dakar in September 2026; no income is guaranteed).

A WhatsApp store run with the method from this course (10 products, an average order around 15,000 FCFA (about $25), floor prices at a 35% net margin) can handle 20 to 100 orders a month depending on the catalog and the time invested, which means 300,000 to 1,500,000 FCFA (about $500 to $2,500) in monthly revenue and 100,000 to 500,000 FCFA (about $170 to $830) in net margin before tax. The worked example used throughout the course also shows where lost money goes: the anti-dispute process from module 3 brings losses (refused parcels, fake screenshots) down from more than 5% to less than 1% of revenue, and the published delivery rate card from module 4 turns 32,000 FCFA of monthly losses into 1,000 FCFA. These are illustrative orders of magnitude (estimates built for the course, not measured results); results depend on the product, consistency and local competition.

An e-commerce lead at an SME or brand in Dakar or Abidjan typically earns 400,000 to 900,000 FCFA (about $670 to $1,500) a month depending on the size of the business; a consultant who supports growing brands charges 250,000 to 750,000 FCFA (about $420 to $1,250) per review and planning engagement (ranges observed in Dakar and Abidjan in 2026). For a founder, what is at stake is margin: gaining a few points of contribution margin on 5,000 orders a year is worth several million FCFA.

This level does not promise direct extra income: it protects what you already bring in. On a business earning 500,000 FCFA (about $830) a month, a structured reminder process routinely recovers 50,000 to 150,000 FCFA (about $85 to $250) of unpaid invoices per quarter, and the right legal status opens the door to structured clients whose assignments often exceed 500,000 FCFA (practices observed in Dakar and Abidjan in 2026; no income is guaranteed).
