About this course
Small businesses in Dakar, Abidjan, Bamako and Douala all have a Facebook Page, an Instagram account or a WhatsApp Business number. Most of them rarely post, reply late and have no idea whether social media brings them any customers. They are looking for someone reliable to handle it every month. That someone can be you.
This course teaches community management the way it is practiced by the people who make a living from it in French-speaking Africa: not big-brand theory, but the real work for a clinic, a restaurant, a fashion boutique, a private school or a real estate agency. You learn what SMEs actually pay in 2026 (monthly retainers of 75,000 to 300,000 FCFA, about $125 to $500, depending on scope), how to build a content strategy and an editorial calendar, how to produce photos, carousels and short videos with a phone, Canva and CapCut, how to publish in the right format on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and YouTube Shorts, how to engage a community and turn messages into sales, how to launch a Meta or TikTok ad with 2,000 to 20,000 FCFA (about $3 to $33) a day, how to measure results and write the monthly report that justifies your invoice, and finally how to find clients, present a three-package offer, sign a simple contract, collect a deposit through Wave or Orange Money and keep clients coming back.
Eight modules, 32 short lessons, a PDF handout and a quiz for each module, and eight graded projects, including a final project: your business ready to invoice, with a portfolio, an offer, a contract and a first report. The examples come from SMEs in Dakar, Thiès, Abidjan, Bamako and Douala, with amounts in FCFA.
You leave with: a complete content strategy for an SME, a one-month editorial calendar, 12 finished pieces of content, a configured Meta campaign, a dashboard and a monthly report, a sales offer in three packages, a contract template and a portfolio you can show prospects as soon as you finish the course.
Who it is for: Young professionals, students, communications staff, customer service agents and entrepreneurs in Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali and Cameroon who want to make community management their profession, as a freelancer or in-house, or serve diaspora clients from their phone.
