About this course
A badly laid out document is expensive: a CV rejected in ten seconds, a quote that makes the client doubt your company is serious, a 20-page report whose page numbering breaks with every edit. Most Word users type spaces to line things up, bold their headings by hand and rebuild the table of contents the night before the meeting.
This course teaches you to work the way professional writers and assistants do. Over five modules, you build solid foundations (paragraphs, tabs, saving and PDF export), you master page layout (margins, headers, footers, page numbers, section breaks), you structure your documents with styles and an automatic table of contents, you insert images and tables that stay where you put them, and you produce everyday documents: CV, cover letter, formal administrative letter, meeting minutes and report.
You leave with your own letterhead, a business-ready CV, a letter template and a structured 8 to 12 page report, all reusable.
**Place in the Office and productivity track**: level 2, after *Master your computer, your files and your email* (level 1), before *Practical Excel: tables, formulas and analysis for work* (level 3).
Who it is for: Assistants, secretaries, administrative staff, job seekers, final-year students, entrepreneurs and SME managers who write letters, quotes, reports or CVs and want a professional result without spending hours on it.
