About this course

At work, the tools never operate alone. The monthly report reuses the Excel figures, the committee presentation reuses the report, and all of it travels by email in ten different versions. The professionals who get ahead are the ones who can chain these tools together, work with others on the same file and present a clear result in ten minutes. This course covers the complete craft of office productivity in a company. Across eight modules, you organize the shared workspace (OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, co-authoring and versions), you automate recurring Word documents (templates, mail merge, forms), you consolidate and clean Excel data coming from several sources, then you spend four modules on PowerPoint: building the message, laying out slides with the Slide Master and the brand guidelines, choosing useful charts, images and animations, and presenting with confidence in the room or on a video call. The last module makes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook work together, built-in assistants included. Every module ends with a portfolio deliverable. You leave with eight concrete pieces, including a complete monthly pack to show in a job interview or to your management. **Place in the Office and productivity track**: level 4, after *Practical Excel: tables, formulas and analysis for work* (level 3), before *Executive assistant: office tools, organization and communication* (level 5).

Who it is for: Assistants, project officers, sales staff, NGO and public administration officers, office managers and future office employees who know the basics of Word and Excel and want to master the whole suite, PowerPoint included, to work as a team and present to management.

Questions about this course

Do I need a Microsoft 365 subscription?

It is strongly recommended at this level: SharePoint, Teams, Power Query and the full Presenter View are in the desktop apps. Students can often get Microsoft 365 for free through their school. Google Workspace is presented as an alternative in module 1.

I have never used PowerPoint. Is that a problem?

No. Four modules out of eight are dedicated to PowerPoint, from the message to the spoken presentation. Word and Excel, however, should be known at the level of courses 2 and 3 of the track.

How much time should I plan?

About 22 hours: close to 10 hours of lessons, the exercises after each lesson and eight short projects, including a three-hour final project. At four hours a week, allow six weeks.

Are assistants like Copilot covered?

Yes, in module 8: what they do well (first draft, summary, formatting), what you must always check, and the confidentiality rules before pasting company data into them.

Does the certificate mention all three applications?

Yes. The Kolonell Academy certificate lists the validated skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365 collaboration) and links to an online verification page.

What should I do after this level?

Level 5, Executive assistant, which adds organization, calendar management, correspondence, meetings and the communication of an executive office.

How do I pay?

Via Wave or Orange Money. After enrolling you receive a pro forma invoice by email with the number to pay. Send the proof on WhatsApp: your access is activated within 24 business hours.

How long do I keep access?

For life, updates included. Learn at your own pace and revisit lessons as often as you need.

How do I get the certificate?

Complete the lessons and pass each module quiz with at least 70%. The certificate is generated automatically, with a unique number and a public verification page.
