For freelancers, this skill is already enough to offer simple document writing or formatting services, observed at 15,000 to 50,000 FCFA (about $25 to $83) per document in Dakar in 2026, with no guarantee of volume.

Indicative estimate, depending on your market, pace and work. No income is guaranteed.

Tools used

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Google Gemini
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • NotebookLM
  • Google Docs
  • Google Sheets
  • Gamma

What you'll learn

  • Write structured requests and improve them with targeted follow-ups instead of starting over

  • Have long documents (PDFs, emails, reports) summarized, compared and queried, checking every figure cited

Prerequisites

  • Level 1, "Discover AI and use it this week", recommended, or equivalent experience: a ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot account you have already used several times
  • A computer (strongly recommended for long documents) and a Google or Microsoft account
  • Writing as part of your daily work or business

About this course

You have already opened ChatGPT or Gemini. Sometimes the answer impressed you; more often it was too long, too vague or beside the point. You do not know how to hand it a 40-page report, a pile of letters or the preparation of a committee meeting, so you keep doing everything by hand. **Who this course is for.** People whose work is made of writing and organizing: memos, letters, reports, meeting minutes, schedules, presentations. It suits employees and managers of small organizations alike. **The concrete result.** An AI work system in place in your job: a reliable way to write requests, templates for your recurring documents, a safe way to have long documents read and summarized, and a routine for organizing your week. You measure the time saved, week after week. **What you do.** Five modules, twenty lessons of 15 to 20 minutes each. You learn effective prompting techniques, then apply them to writing professional documents, analyzing documents, emails and reports, and organizing your ideas, outlines and presentations. The final module brings everything together into a daily routine, with AI as a decision-support tool. **What you produce.** Your library of 20 tested prompts, your letter, memo and report templates, an analysis file on a real document, the outline of a presentation, your weekly routine and your time-saved tracker. **Where it fits in the track.** Level 2 of the Artificial Intelligence track: after level 1, "Discover AI and use it this week", and before level 3, "Generative AI for professionals", which adds business proposals, content and visuals, first automations and selling services.

Who it is for: Administrative staff, assistants, department heads, teachers, legal professionals, accountants, NGO project officers and SME managers in Dakar, Abidjan, Bamako, Cotonou or in the diaspora who write, read and organize a lot, and who already use AI a little but without a method.

Questions about this course

I already use ChatGPT. What more will I learn?

A method, and above all a system. Most users rewrite their request every time and check at random. Here, you leave with templates for your recurring documents, a procedure for analyzing long documents and a measured routine.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. The free versions of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and NotebookLM are enough for every exercise. Module 3 explains the document size limits of the free versions and when a paid plan becomes worthwhile.

Can I upload documents from my company or government office?

Only after classifying them. Module 3 gives you the rule: public document, internal document to anonymize, confidential document that never leaves. If your employer has an AI policy, it takes precedence over everything else.

How is this level different from level 3?

Level 2 organizes your own work: writing, reading, analyzing, planning. Level 3 goes further into business output: proposals, content, visuals, voice, first automations and selling AI-assisted services.

How much time per week?

2 hours a week for 5 weeks, including exercises and projects. The final project is built over four real weeks of work.

How do I pay?

Via Wave or Orange Money. After enrolling you receive a pro forma invoice by email with the number to pay. Send the proof on WhatsApp: your access is activated within 24 business hours.

How long do I keep access?

For life, updates included. Learn at your own pace and revisit lessons as often as you need.

How do I get the certificate?

Complete the lessons and pass each module quiz with at least 70%. The certificate is generated automatically, with a unique number and a public verification page.
