What you will produce

  • Your library of 30 tested job-specific prompts, organized by task in Google Sheets
  • Your email templates (reply, follow-up, complaint, refusal) and your business proposal template
  • Your data usage policy: what can be pasted, what must be anonymized, what stays out of AI

Possible earnings

For your own work: 3 to 6 hours saved per week on writing, summaries and presentations, depending on how much writing your role involves. As a service: AI-assisted writing (a business proposal, a bid file, a pack of 12 posts) bills at 50,000 to 150,000 FCFA (about $85 to $250), and a simple automation or a half-day in-house training session at 150,000 to 300,000 FCFA (about $250 to $500) (rates charged in Dakar in 2026, excluding tool subscriptions).

Indicative estimate, depending on your market, pace and work. No income is guaranteed.

About this course

You have already tried ChatGPT or Gemini. The result was acceptable but bland, sometimes wrong, and you ended up rewriting everything. You may also have hesitated before pasting in a contract or a customer list, unsure whether that was allowed. So the tool stays open in a browser tab and you keep doing everything by hand. This course gives you a complete working method, not a list of tricks. Over six modules, you choose your tools knowing their real cost in FCFA and their limits, you learn the prompt structure that gets a usable result on the first try, you produce your emails, business proposals, meeting minutes, spreadsheet analyses and presentations in a third of the time, you create publishable content and visuals without drifting into fakery, you automate repetitive tasks without writing a single line of code, and you learn to sell and bill these skills if that is your goal. Data protection runs through the whole course: what you never paste into an AI tool, what Senegal's Law 2008-12 on personal data says, and the usage policy you write for yourself or your team. Every lesson ends with an exercise applied to your own job. Every module has its PDF handout and its quiz. There are two graded projects, including a final project in which you build an AI service offer with its price and a demonstration. The examples come from professionals in Dakar, Abidjan, Bamako and Cotonou, with amounts in FCFA. You leave with: your library of 30 tested prompts, your email and proposal templates, your data usage policy, an automated workflow that actually runs, your weekly time-saved tracker, and your AI service offer with its price.

Who it is for: Professionals in West and Central Africa who write, analyze and present every day: freelancers, SME managers and owners, communications staff and community managers, legal professionals, teachers and trainers, salespeople, executive assistants. Some simply want to save time; others want to sell AI-assisted services.

Questions about this course

Do I need a paid ChatGPT or Claude subscription to take the course?

No. The free versions are enough for every exercise. Module 1 gives you the real cost of the paid plans (about 11,500 FCFA, or roughly $19, per month each as of September 2026) and the test to run before you pay.

I am not technical. Is the automation module for me?

Yes. Everything is done by drag and drop in Make or Zapier and in Google Sheets. No code at all. If you can fill in a Google Form, you can do module 5.

Can I use AI with my clients' documents?

Not in just any way. The course teaches you what can be pasted, what must be anonymized and what stays out of AI, based on Senegal's Law 2008-12 on personal data and the confidentiality clauses in your contracts. You write your usage policy in module 1.

How much time per week?

2 to 3 hours for 4 to 5 weeks, including exercises and projects. Each lesson takes 15 to 20 minutes, ideally on a computer.

Can I really sell AI services without being a developer?

Yes, for the four services covered in module 6: writing, content, simple automations and in-house training. The rates given are those observed in Dakar in 2026. Projects that require development are flagged as such, with the questions to ask a contractor.

How do I pay?

Via Wave or Orange Money. After enrolling you receive a pro forma invoice by email with the number to pay. Send the proof on WhatsApp: your access is activated within 24 business hours.

How long do I keep access?

For life, updates included. Learn at your own pace and revisit lessons as often as you need.

How do I get the certificate?

Complete the lessons and pass each module quiz with at least 70%. The certificate is generated automatically, with a unique number and a public verification page.
