Senegal electric vehicles: a market emerging in 2026

The EV (Electric Vehicle) market in Senegal is embryonic but strongly growing 2024-2026. Drivers: Chinese brands (BYD, NIO, MG) at competitive prices, upper middle class interested in modernity + ecology, government exploring EV customs reductions.

Annual Dakar EV market 2026: ~5-12 billion FCFA (very small vs thermal). But strong +100-150%/year growth.
