The verdict in three sentences
You sell the outcome, Kolonell handles the tech, you earn a commission on every signed project. The grid runs from 8 % (institutional) to 15 % + 5 % recurring (showcase), paid as soon as the client pays, via Wave or mobile money. No cap, no delivery risk: your only job is to qualify and introduce the right decision-maker.
The commission grid by division
Each Kolonell division has its own rate, calibrated to average ticket size. Larger tickets (marketplace, institutional) pay a lower percentage but a far higher absolute amount.
| Division | Average ticket 2026 | Sale commission | Recurring | Payout on one typical sale |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Showcase | 250,000 – 1,200,000 FCFA | 15 % | 5 % maintenance | 75,000 FCFA (500,000 site) |
| E-commerce | 1,000,000 – 4,000,000 FCFA | 12 % | 5 % maintenance | 180,000 FCFA (1,500,000 site) |
| Marketplace | 2,500,000 – 12,000,000 FCFA | 10 % | 5 % maintenance | 350,000 FCFA (3,500,000 platform) |
| Institutional | 5,000,000 – 25,000,000 FCFA | 8 % | 5 % maintenance | 640,000 FCFA (8,000,000 project) |
The recurring layer is the real annuity: 5 % on a 100,000 FCFA/month maintenance contract is 5,000 FCFA/month per client, for as long as the contract lives.
How one project actually pays
Take a showcase site billed at 500,000 FCFA with 100,000 FCFA/month maintenance. Here is exactly what you collect.
| Line item | Client price | Your commission | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Showcase site | 500,000 FCFA | 75,000 FCFA | Once, at signing |
| Monthly maintenance | 100,000 FCFA | 5,000 FCFA | Every month |
| Monthly SEO (option) | 150,000 FCFA | 7,500 FCFA | Every month |
| Managed hosting | 50,000 FCFA | 2,500 FCFA | Every month |
| Year 1 total (with recurring) | — | 255,000 FCFA | — |
A single well-served client can therefore generate over 255,000 FCFA in year one, of which 180,000 FCFA is recurring income that keeps flowing in later years.
Mini case study
Fatou, a hairdresser and influencer in Dakar, knows many shop owners through Instagram. In 2026 she introduces 4 clients to Kolonell in three months: two showcase sites (500,000 FCFA each) and two e-commerce sites (1,500,000 FCFA each). Her sale commissions: (2 × 75,000) + (2 × 180,000) = 510,000 FCFA. Add recurring income estimated at 25,000 FCFA/month across the four contracts. Fatou neither coded nor designed: she simply sent the right contacts through a demo link.

FAQ
Do I have to pay to become a Kolonell referral partner?
No, joining is free. You receive a customizable demo link and an online quote tool; you pay nothing and take no financial risk.
When and how do I get paid?
As soon as the client pays their deposit and balance, your commission is sent via Wave or mobile money, usually within 7 days of collection. The recurring share arrives monthly while the contract is active.
Is there a cap on the number of clients?
No cap. You can introduce 1 or 30 clients per month; the commission applies to each based on its division.
What if the client isn't happy with the delivery?
Delivery is Kolonell's job, not your risk. You're paid on actual collection; if a project falls through before payment, you've advanced nothing.
Can I combine this with a job or other activity?
Yes, the vast majority of partners do it part-time. Two or three clients a month is enough to build a meaningful side income.
