Notion shifted from hype tool in 2022 to operational standard in 2026: free version is enough for up to 10 users (unlimited bases, unlimited blocks), full French interface, works on Dakar 3G.

Notion free enough for how many SME users?
2026 Free plan: 10 users maximum, unlimited blocks, files up to 5 MB each, 7-day history. Beyond 10 people: upgrade to Plus (€9/user/month) or Business (€15/user/month).
Do I need to pay for the above templates?
No. The 12 Kolonell templates are public and freely duplicable from our permalinks. You keep ownership of your data after duplication.
How to migrate from Excel / Google Sheets?
Notion allows direct CSV import (Import → CSV file). Keep column mapping: identical column names, types (text/number/date) to choose manually. Count half a day per 500-2,000 row base.
Does Notion work on Dakar 3G?
Yes but slowly (4-9 seconds first page open). Tip: activate favorites for key pages (faster loading). Prefer WiFi for massive entry.
What alternative if Notion doesn't fit?
Coda (equivalent with more formulas), ClickUp (more project-management oriented), Airtable (more advanced spreadsheet). For beginner Senegalese SME: Notion remains the best simplicity/price/French compromise.
