The verdict in three sentences
For an Antwerp broker arranging private flights for diamond, port and industrial executives and yacht charters in the Mediterranean or the North Sea, the site has to earn trust within seconds on mobile and say clearly who operates the aircraft or the vessel. A local agency is justified if your clients expect flawless upscale Dutch and in-person meetings; a remote studio is often enough for an English-first or French-first site. On the Kolonell grid, plan EUR 4,500 for Growth and EUR 8,200 for Premium (the multilingual tier, languages set in the quote), with maintenance on quote after 3 months of support.
This guide is for founders and managers of business aviation and yacht charter brokerages in Antwerp. A sister article compares prices; here the aim is to choose the right provider.
Which questions separate the two options in this sector?
Luxury is judged on detail, and charter brokerage is judged on clarity. These are the questions that really count.
| Question | Why it matters for a broker | Antwerp agency | Remote studio |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who writes the Dutch, French and English? | Local clients read Dutch first, international clients read English | Native Dutch in house, French varies | Native French and English (included at Kolonell), Dutch by an independent copywriter |
| Does the site separate broker from operator? | A broker must not present itself as the operator | Depends on sector experience | Depends on sector experience |
| How are confidential inquiries handled? | High-net-worth clients expect discretion | Meetings possible at your office | Video calls, project manager in your time zone |
| Who supplies aircraft and yacht visuals? | Image rights belong to operators and owners | Local shoot possible | Local photographer or licensed visuals, third-party cost |
| Are domain and code in the company's name? | Reversibility if you change provider | Write it into the contract | Write it into the contract |
| Is the site fast on mobile? | Requests are often sent between meetings | Test on an existing page | Test on an existing page |
The broker versus operator row has nothing to do with geography: it depends on the provider's rigour and your own review.
How much should you plan in 2026, and for what scope?
A 2026 ballpark based on typical quotes from Belgian agencies positioned at the high end. Third-party costs are shown separately.
| Scope | Antwerp agency (EUR, ballpark) | Kolonell | Possible third-party costs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Presentation page and inquiry form | 3,000 to 6,000 | Starter, EUR 2,700 | Licensed visuals |
| English and French site, 10 to 15 pages | 10,000 to 18,000 | Premium, EUR 8,200 | Local photographer |
| Trilingual Dutch, French, English site | 18,000 to 35,000 | Premium, EUR 8,200 (languages set in the quote) | Independent Dutch copywriter |
| English-only site, 8 to 12 pages | 7,000 to 14,000 | Growth, EUR 4,500 | Licensed visuals |
| Client area or request tracking | 4,000 to 12,000 extra | On quote | None |
| Maintenance (market assumption) | 80 to 250 a month | On quote after 3 months of support | None |
Every Kolonell tier includes a project manager reachable in your time zone, native English or French copywriting and delivery in 3 to 4 weeks. Tiers are presented on the international offer page.
When is the local agency preferable, and what must the site say?
The Antwerp agency has the edge in three cases: your main clients are Dutch speakers who expect a polished tone in their language, your partners want regular in-person meetings, or you plan shoots on the apron or on board, which needs a local crew and operator approval. A remote studio suits a firm whose clients are international, where English and French carry most of the site and you want to be live within a month.
What the site must say, whoever builds it:
- Broker status. In the European Union, commercial air operators hold an air operator certificate issued by their national authority; a vessel is the responsibility of its owner or management company. The site should state that the company acts as an intermediary and that the flight or cruise is performed by a third-party operator. Standard agreements such as the MYBA form are common in the Mediterranean: mention them only if you use them.
- A qualifying inquiry form: dates, departure and arrival airports or ports, number of passengers or guests, flexibility. No passport copies at inquiry stage: the GDPR and the Belgian Data Protection Authority require collection to be limited to what is necessary.
- Discretion: no client names, aircraft or vessel names without written consent.
- Accessibility: a WCAG 2.1 AA target, and a check with your counsel on the European Accessibility Act.
This is not legal advice.

Mini case study
*Illustrative example.* Elise, founder of a charter brokerage in Antwerp's Zuid district, wants a site in Dutch, French and English.
- Antwerp agency: quote of EUR 24,000, Dutch copy and photo shoot included.
- Kolonell Premium: EUR 8,200 (the multilingual tier, languages set in the quote, French and English written natively), plus an independent Dutch copywriter at EUR 1,800 and licensed visuals at EUR 1,200, both third-party costs. Total: EUR 11,200.
Gap: 24,000 minus 11,200, or EUR 12,800. Elise picks the remote studio but keeps one local habit: her Dutch copywriter also reviews the French and English pages to align trade vocabulary. Had her clients been mostly local Dutch speakers, she would have chosen the agency.
FAQ
Can the site show flight prices?
A broker can publish indicative ranges, provided it states they depend on the operator, the date and availability. Plan at least one review by your counsel before go-live, about 1 to 2 weeks in the schedule.
Do we need three languages at launch?
Not necessarily. An English-only site on the Growth tier at EUR 4,500 gets you started, then Premium at EUR 8,200 adds Dutch and French.
How long does it take?
Kolonell delivers in 3 to 4 weeks; a local agency often quotes 8 to 14 weeks for a high-end site. Gathering licensed visuals often adds 1 to 3 weeks.
Who owns the aircraft and yacht photos?
Usually the operator, the owner or the photographer. Get a written licence for every visual, or you will have to take it down.
Is maintenance included?
Kolonell includes 3 months of support, after that it is on quote. On the Belgian market, EUR 80 to 250 a month is a common assumption for a high-end site.
